VIDEO KIT – FINALE

FINALLY, WE MANAGE TO COMPLETE AND SUBMIT THE ASSIGNMENT. I
FELT LIKE A BIG BURDEN HAD BEEN RELEASE FROM MY SHOULDER WHEN THE ASSIGNMENT
HAD BEEN SUBMITTED. I COULD SEE THE RELIEF AND SATISFACTION IN EVERYONE FACE AS
THEY HANDED IN THE ASSIGNMENT. PERSONALLY, I AM REALLY SATISFY WITH THE PACKAGE
THAT MY GROUP HAD CREATED AS WE HAD PUT A LOT OF EFFORT AND HARD WORK IN DOING
IT. BUT, I ALSO REALIZE THAT THE PACKAGE IS NOT PERFECT AND STILL CAN BE IMPROVED.

BESIDES THAT, I ALSO HAD THE CHANCE TO LOOK OTHER GROUPS’
PACKAGE AND I AM REALLY AMAZE WITH THE PRODUCT THAT THEY HAD CREATED. THEY ARE
VERY CREATIVE IN THE WAY THEY PRESENTING THE PACKAGE. SOME USE THE HUGE AND
DECORATED BOX WHILE OTHER MAKES THE PACKAGE AS A DVD SET. EVEN THE TUTORS ARE
AMAZED WITH THE END-PRODUCT THAT WE HAD CREATED. SO, A BIG CLAP FOR MY FRIENDS
FOR DOING A GREAT JOB.

IN THE PROCESS OF COMPLETING THE VIDEO KIT, I HAVE LEARNT A
LOT OF THINGS. I LEARN HOW TO UTILIZE THE RESOURCES THAT WE HAVE TO TEACH THE
STUDENTS. FROM THE VIDEO THAT I HAD CREATED, I CAN CONDUCT A LOT OF ACTIVITIES
WITH THE STUDENTS. SO, AS A TEACHER, WE NEED TO BE CREATIVE IN USING THE RESOURCES
FOR THE BENEFITS OF THE STUDENTS.

APART FROM THAT, I ALSO REALIZE THAT GROUP WORK AND
COOPERATION ARE REALLY IMPORTANT. WE CAN HELP ONE ANOTHER IN DOING THE
DIFFICULT TASK TO MAKE IT A LOT EASIER. WE ALSO CAN PORDUCE A BETTER PRODUCT IF
WE WORK IN GROUP BECAUSE THERE WILL BE MORE IDEAS AND OPINIONS CAN BE SUGESSTED
TO COMPLETE THE TASK.

HOPEFULLY, I CAN USE ALL THE EXPERIENCES THAT I GET FROM
THIS ASSIGNMENT IN THE FUTURE. THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO THE LECTURER AND TUTORS

VIDEO KIT – TIME TO GET BUSY

FOR THE VIDEO KIT, WE NEED TO CREATE THE FOLLOW UP ACTIVITY
FOR THE VIDEO THAT WE HAD CREATED EARLIER. SO, AS MY VIDEO IS ABOUT THE SHAPES
IN THE REAL ENVIRONMENT, FOCUSING IN THE CLASSROOM, SO I DECIDED TO CONDUCT AN
OUTDOOR ACTIVITY. IN THIS ACTIVITY, THE STUDENTS WILL BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY
TO EXPLORE THE WIDER AREA, NOT RESTRICTED ONLY TO THEIR CLASSROOM TO FIND THE
SHAPES IN THEIR ENVIRONMENT. THAT WAS A BRIEF DESCRIPTION ON HOW MY ACTIVITY
WILL BE CONDUCTED.

SO, FOR THE VIDEO KIT, I WILL MAKE A MANUAL ON HOW TO RUN
THE ACTIVITY AND ALSO A TASKSHEET FOR THE ACTIVITY. AFTER I HAD COMPLETED MY
PART, I ALSO HELP MY GROUP MEMBERS TO FINISH THE POSTER, PHAMPLETE, AND THE CD
COVER. I COULD SEE THAT TEAMWORK AND COOPERATION ARE REALLY ESSENTIAL IN
COMPLETING THE ASSIGMENT. I WAS SO GRATEFUL TO GET THE GROUP MEMBERS WHO ARE SO
RESPONSIBLE AND COOPERATIVE. THE DIFFICULT TASK BECAME MUCH EASIER TO WORK WITH
THEM.

 

VIDEO KIT – PLANNING STAGE

AT THE BEGINNING OF THE ASSIGNMENT, I WAS REALLY BLURRED.
LUCKILY THIS WAS A GROUP WORK ASSIGNMENT, SO MY GROUPMATES HAD EXPLAINED TO ME
ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT TO HELP ME GET THE CLEARER VIEW ABOUT IT.

OUR TASK WAS TO CREATE THE PACKAGE ABOUT THE VIDEOS THAT WE
HAD CREATED EARLIER. IT DEPEND ON US HOW TO CREATE THE PACKAGE AS LONG AS IT
WOULD BE ATTRACTIVE AND APPEALING WHICH CAN MAKE OTHER PEOPLE TO BUY IT.

FOR THE FIRST DISCUSSION, WE HAD DISCUSSED ON WHAT TO BE
INCLUDED IN OUR PACKAGE. WE HAD DECIDED TO CREATE THE POSTER, MANUAL FOR THE
ACTIVITIES, CD COVER AND ALSO PHAMPLETE. WE ALSO DISCUSSED THE OUTLINE OF THE
POSTER. AS OUR VIDEOS WERE FOCUSING ON SHAPES, SO WE USE THE SHAPES IN OUR
POSTER.

APART FROM THAT, WE ALSO DID BRAINSTROM ON THE ACTIVITIES THAT
WE WANTED TO CONDUCT FOR EACH VIDEO.  AT
FIRST, I DIDN’T HAVE ANY IDEA ON WHAT TO DO FOR MY VIDEO. AS WE DISCUSSED IN
GROUP, THERE WERE A LOT OF SUGGESTIONS AND IDEAS HAD BEEN SHARED. I GUESS THAT
IS THE BENEFIT TO WORK IN GROUP. LIKE THE SAYING “TWO HEADS ARE BETTER THAN ONE”

SO FOR MY ACTIVITY, I HAD DECIDED TO DO AN OUTDOOR ACTIVITY.
I CALLED THE ACTIVITY AS “SHAPES HUNTER”.

AS FOR NOW, I THINK THAT OUR PROGRESS WAS SMOOTH AND
EVERYTHING WAS ACCORDING TO THE PLAN. 
THE PLANNING STAGE WAS COMPLETED, SO NOW WE CAME TO THE NEXT STAGE TO
MAKE OUR IDEAS A REALITY….

MY IDEAL CLASSROOM

BEFORE THIS, I NEVER THINK ABOUT THE KIND OF CLASSROOM THAT
I WANT TO TEACH WHEN I HAVE BEEN POSTED TO THE SCHOOL, OR IN OTHER WORD
“MY
IDEAL CLASSROOM”
.

BUT, AFTER DR RAJA MAZNAH POSTED THE QUESTION, I STARTED TO
THINK AND ASK MYSELF:

“How big my ideal classroom?”

“How many students that I want?”

“What are the things that I want in my classroom?”

And the list goes on and on….

SO, I DREAM THAT MY IDEAL CLASSROOM WILL HAVE:

THE MAXIMUM ONLY 20 STUDENTS. THIS IS TO ENSURE THAT I CAN
FOCUS TO EACH AND EVERY STUDENT IN MY CLASSROOM. IN THE REALITY, A CLASSROOM NEEDS
TO ACCOMMODATE UP TO 40 STUDENTS!!! CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW THE TEACHER CAN HANDLE
THE CLASS AND PAY ATTENTION TO EVERY STUDENT IN THE CLASS.? SO, I DON’T WANT
THIS TO HAPPEN. THE LEAST THE STUDENT THE BETTER FOR ME.

APART FROM THAT, I WANT THE CLASSROOM TO BE WELL-EQUIPED
WITH ALL THE TECHNOLOGY THINGS ESPECIALLY THE COMPUTER TO ASSSIST THEIR
LEARNING. I WANT EACH STUDENT TO GET THEIR OWN COMPUTER. WITH THE USAGE OF
TECHNOLOGY, THE TEACHING AND LEARNING PROCESS WILL BE MUCH FUN AND ENJOYABLE.

I ALSO WANT MY IDEAL CLASSROOM TO BE WELL-DECORATED. I WANT
THE CLASSROOM TO BE CHEERFUL WITH ALL THE BRIGHT COLOURS. I ALSO WANT THE WALL
TO BE DECORATED NICELY WITH MURAL OR WE CAN PASTE THE STUDENTS’ WORK ON THE WALL.
I ALSO WANT A MINI LIBRARY IN THE CLASSROOM THAT FULL WITH STORYBOOKS AND OTHER
READING MATERIALS. TO PUT IN SIMPLE WORD, I WANT THE CLASSROOM TO BE THE MOST
COMFORTABLE PLACE FOR THE STUDENTS TO BE. I WANT THE STUDENTS TO FEEL LIKE THEY
ARE AT HOME SO THAT THEY WILL NOT FEEL STRESS.

IF POSSIBLE, I WANT MY CLASSROOM TO HAVE THE MASSAGE CHAIR.
IF THE STUDENTS FEEL SLEEPY, THEY CAN USE THE CHAIR TO ENERGIZE THEMSELVES. OR
EVEN I CAN USE THE CHAIR IF I FEEL SLEEPY.

I THINK THAT MY IDEAL CLASSROOM IS QUITE REALISTIC AND
POSSIBLE TO BE CREATED. BUT, OF COURSE I NEED THE SUPPORT FROM THE SCHOOL
ADMINISTRATOR AND GOVERNMENT TO  MAKE IT
A REALITY.

BUT, AS THE FUTURE TEACHER, IT DOESN’T MATTER IF I GET MY
IDEAL CLASSROOM OR NOT. NO MATTER HOW BAD THE CLASSROOM, I STILL NEED TO CARRY
OUT MY DUTY. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS, I COME IN TO THE CLASSROOM AND TEACH
THE STUDENTS AND HOPEFULLY THEY WILL LEARN SOMETHING FROM ME.

HI EVERYONE…

IT’S BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE I WROTE MY LAST ENTRY IN THIS
BLOG…

MY LIFE IS QUITE CHAOTIC AND HECTIC NOW WITH ALL THE
ASSINGMENTS THAT NEED TO BE SUBMITTED.

BUT I GUESS THAT IS THE CHALLENGE THAT WE NEED TO FACE AS A
STUDENT RITE…

OK, ENOUGH ABOUT THAT…

CONCERNING MY VIDEO “SHAPES AROUND US” (I HOPE YOU STILL CAN
REMEMBER IT) I DIDN’T DO ANY CHANGES TO IT…

EVENTHOUGH I GOT A LOT OF COMMENTS FROM MY FRIENDS, BUT I
STILL BELIEVE THAT I HAD CREATED A GOOD VIDEO. I ADMIT THAT THERE WERE A LOT OF
FLAWS IN MY VIDEO AND I CAN ACCEPT ALL THE COMMENTS FROM MY FRIENDS. BUT FOR
THE BEGINNER LIKE ME WHO HAD NEVER CREATED THE VIDEO BEFORE, I THINK THAT THE
MISTAKES ARE FORGIVABLE.  BESIDES THAT, I
THINK THAT THE MESSAGE THAT I WANT TO DELIVER THROUGH THE VIDEO CAN BE REACHED TO
THE AUDIENCE, AND FOR ME THAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. SO, IF THE MAIN
PURPOSE OF MAKING THE VIDEO CAN BE ACHIEVED, WHY DO I NEED TO CHANGE THE VIDEO,
RITE?

OF COURSE THE ARE STILL A LOT OF THINGS THAT CAN BE IMPROVED
TO MAKE THE VIDEO BETTER. I’M SURE, FROM THE EXPERIENCE THAT I GET IN CREATING
THE VIDEO; I WILL BE ABLE TO CREATE A BETTER VIDEO IN THE FUTURE FOR MY
STUDENTS. AS FOR NOW, I THINK THAT MY VIDEO HAD REACHED MY EXPECTATION, AND I
HOPE IT WILL ALSO REACH YOUR EXPECTATION.
